Thanks to Sara, for inspiring me to bullet point a blog post.
2- The number of times in the last few days that my husband has mentioned to me that I haven’t written a blog post lately. What?! I didn’t realize he even read with any kind of consistency. I mean really- this is the suitcase guy.
(Yes that reads 125 days)
21- The number of days that have passed since I hit the publish button on my blog.
2.5- The number of days left in the school year. Hello lazy days by the pool. Goodbye alarm clock.
7- The number of days it has been since I got a phone call telling me that I was awarded the Substitute Teacher of the Year for our local high school. That’s right, you can all call me Peggy Hill now.

0- The dollar amount of the huge raise I’ll be getting for my prestigious award.
180- The amount of money I spent at the vet so I could be told that my dog’s cough was probably due to him eating something that irritated his throat.
9:41- The first sub 10 mile I ever ran was yesterday. I thought I was going slow and taking it easy, but in actuality I was so fast that I must have looked like a blur to the passing cars. Mile 2 on the other hand was so slow that I’m sure people wondered how I was exerting so much energy while out for a stroll.

2- The number of roaches that decided to scare the bejeebers out of me yesterday morning.
147- The number of pictures I took at the first ever Field Day for my boys.

It was in my mental to-do list to e-mail you and find out what in the world was going on!!! Congratulations on your award- tell me you at least go a trophy or gift card or something other than a phone call!!!
Congrats on your award!! How amazing:) AND I love your action shots of track and field. My DDs track and field was today.
Thanks for the comment...it's so nice to know that I am not the only one that feels this way! : )
Great job on the sub-10 mile!!
Its about friggin time you blogged!!!! Welcome back!
I totally love this idea! And you've been missed - but I completely understand. I've had the bloggy blues lately myself and have just had a hard time getting inspired.
PS. I HATE roaches. Blech. And why is it that you never see just one?
PSS. Congratulations on the prestigious (albeit non-lucrative) award! Yay you!
What a great idea.
You HAVE been gone (and missed) for a while....not that I'm complaining, I know how busy you've been.
Again, congrats on the award. It was well-deserved and couldn't have happened to a nicer person!
Glad you popped back into the bloggy world! You've been missed!
Josiah is on a mission trip in Haiti and needs prayer cover. Details on my blog if you need them. Otherwise ... just pray ... God knows! :)
Hi Peggy!
So proud of you!!! and for once a school has recognized greatness!!!! good job...
check your email.. wanna come to Dallas for a photo walk???
Congrats on your sub-10 minute mile! Impressive!
And double congrats on your Substitute Teacher of the Year award.
Yay for your award and your less than 10 minute mile! I am so impressed with both:) Isn't field day fun! I always take a ton of pics too.
Congrats on the fast mile! I think I have only broken 10 a couple of times since I took up running, I am slow!
And congrats on the award! That is so awesome. In a lot of ways I think it would be harder to be a sub than a regular teacher as kids are always tying to do crazy things when the sub is there.
Congrats on the award.
That luggage watch still cracks me up.
Way to go on the run time!!! Love the field day pics too.
I still think you are insane with the whole running without someone chasing you thing. But your descriptions are killing me - hilarious! (And classic Julie, if you must know :)
Loving the photos - you are kicking butt with that cam.
Luggage Watch - still makes me giggle!
