Has the start of 2012 made you stop in your tracks and really think about the fact that it is the year two thousand and eleven? What happened to the 1900’s? Are the Christmas bills filling up your mailbox already? Is the Christmas tree taunting you as it sits in the corner of your house asking to be taken down? Are you still trying to dig your way out of a mound of paper, boxes, and bows? Or maybe you have jumped feet first into the new year and have a new lease on life! Well tell me about it…in letter form of course. Write the who, what, when, where, and why of it all. Grab the button from my sidebar, and link up at the bottom. I look forward to your Letters of Intent!
Dear Tara,
You are Ah-MAZING. Not only did you send me the most fabulous thank-you gift for sending you used laundry scoops (apparently they don’t supply laundry scoops in the boxes in the Ukraine), but you sent them before I had even boxed up and labeled your package. I hope my package arrives to you safe and sound very soon.
You can never go wrong with chocolate. Ever.
And check out this incredible hand-painted egg ornament! This is one ornament that is not going in my box in the garage. It will be displayed all year long.
Signed,
Your ever-grateful blog friend from across the ocean.

Dear Tina,
I committed the biggest faux-pas in blogging this week. I talked about meeting you in my Year in Review Post and failed to link to your extraordinary, always entertaining blog- Twinkle Toes- De Lux. I hope you can forgive your very favorite blog friend *cough cough*. I look forward to hearing all about your adventures in Luxembourg.
Signed,
*slapping self on forehead*

Dear Followers/Lurkers/Visitors,
If you’re looking for some new blogs to read, I highly recommend Tara and Tina. Both of them are living overseas and learning to navigate their way through unfamiliar countries as expats. They write about their adventures with all kinds of hilarity as they learn the customs of the countries they are living in.

WOW! Nice egg......
AH! You are so funny! Thanks for the shout out!
Ha! I'm hosting bunco this month and thought one of the scoops could be a prize! :) HOT commodity those scoops! Not that we couldn't use something else...it's just a little piece of home! Are you able to eat chocolate now?! Thanks and hugs!!!
What a beautiful ornament! All for old laundry scoops - I'll have to check these blogs out. I imagine living the life of an expat can be challenging.
And yeah, my Christmas tree is taunting me from the corner of the living room....how'd ya know?
Ooh! Chocolate. Yum.
That egg ornament is absolutely beautiful!

Well dang!!! If only I used washing powder! LOL. Tara is a sweetheart. Enjoy the chocolate! :)
I've committed that faux pas a few times. :) I'm sure you're forgiven! Especially since you're her favorite blogger and all!
Forgot to mention ... LOVE the egg! I'd keep it out all year too!
Chocolate is awesome! So is that ornament. I love it so much.
